Take a vacation at home

Do you need a vacation? Did you have to cancel yours this year? Taking time off of work right now can be detrimental to your job. I know, we all need a little rest and relaxation, but it might not be possible for another six months (or so).
The next best thing is to invest some of those vacation dollars into your most valuable possession—your home. Why not? Your home is where you already create many of your precious moments.
Would you love an Italian cooking getaway? Instead, trade in your old stove for a new gas range, add stone or butcher block countertops and replace those dingy old kitchen lights. Mount a flat screen TV under your cabinets, get out a bottle of wine, turn off the cell phone and transport yourself to Tuscany.
