There’s a little taste of the big city in Adams County, but don’t look for any flashy signs pointing to it. Located in a building constructed in 1790, Restaurant Sidney opened on the square in East Berlin in 2004. With its terraced façade, it has been attracting a steadily growing clientele of fine dining afficionados who are gleefully downing coulis, confit, caviar and truffles, while Owner/Chef Neil Annis works wonders in the kitchen.
Credited for single-handedly bringing fine dining to New York’s upper west side in 2003 with the Compass restaurant, Annis is currently heading operations in both the city and the country.
