For some people, a craft beer hits the spot. Others argue it’s best complemented by a great meal. Either way, the Appalachian Brewing Company in Gettysburg caters to the craft beer lover.
Situated at 401 Buford Ave., this microbrewery and brewpub serves handcrafted flagship and seasonal beers and hearty pub-style food. The Seminary Ridge location, which opened in 2003, is the first expansion of the Harrisburg establishment with the same name. A third location is in Camp Hill.
“We opened to accommodate craft beer seekers,” says brewer Brandon Quinn.
