Corpus Christi Procession

The Shrine and St. Joseph’s Catholic Church in Emmitsburg are having a Corpus Christi Eucharistic Procession on Sunday, May 29. The procession will begin at St. Joseph’s Church around 11:30 a.m., after their 10:30 a.m. Mass has concluded. Participants will walk about a mile to the Basilica at the Seton Shrine, following the Holy Eucharist as it is carried through the town of Emmitsburg. To participate, arrive and park at the Shrine by 11:15 a.m., so that there’s time to walk to St. Joseph’s Church and join the procession by 11:30.

The sacred event continues in the Shrine’s Basilica with Holy Hour from 12:15-1:15. Confession will be available during the Holy Hour. The Shrine’s Sunday Mass will follow at its usual time of 1:30.
