Celebrate Gettysburg has a circulation of 10,000 magazines each issue, and a readership of 20,000. The first issue debuted in January 2007. Our demographic is 35- to 55-year-old women, primarily residents. We are also tailoring a few departments for the more than 2 million tourists that visit this area each year.

Celebrate Gettysburg has several departments and three feature stories in each issue; one of the features is more news oriented and the other two relate to the theme of that issue.

Lastly, we run a number of ballots in the magazine, that allow for community interaction. Our first ballot, “Everyday Heroes” asks readers to nominate members of the community who they view as an everyday hero. The next ballot, “Gettysburg’s Greatest” invites readers to submit their favorite area businesses in several categories. We then profile the winners of both in the magazine.

Our distribution of the magazine is very extensive. In order to create branding, Celebrate Gettysburg is complimentary. However, readers can visit our website and purchase a subscription for delivery. Distribution locations include: all businesses who advertise in the magazine, conference centers and hotels throughout Adams county, book stores and coffee shops, grocery stores, high end salons, professional reception areas (doctors’ offices, hospitals, lawyers’ offices) and higher education facilities. We also collaborate with new home builders, welcome centers, and real estate professionals to help distribute the publication to residents moving into the area.
